Security flaws detected in the iPhone and iPad Mail app
We all know that Apple operating systems are characterized by both privacy and security. But that does not make them completely exempt from the possibility of suffering vulnerabilities or security flaws.
And that's what seems to have been discovered now, since the existence of two vulnerabilities in the Mail native app of iOS has been made public and iPadOS These vulnerabilities would affect devices from iOS 6 to today and would be present from iOS 11
These vulnerabilities in the Mail app would be present from iOS 11 and would affect devices from iOS 6
Specifically, these two vulnerabilities would affect the Mail app of iOS and iPadOS in two ways . The first one would allow access to the information of the application. The second one would allow malicious code to be executed remotely.
In other words, by simply sending or receiving an email, hackers could access all the information in the Mail app. Not only that, but they could also manipulate emails at will by sending emails, deleting them, archiving them, etc.

Should we be concerned about these vulnerabilities and security flaws? Of course it is something to take into account and the existence of them is worrisome.Of course, these vulnerabilities would have been used to access people who could have privileged and confidential information.
Although most owners of an iPhone or iPad shouldn't have to worry about the possibility of hackers exploiting said vulnerabilities, Apple should fix them as soon as possible. And, apparently, the solution would come with the version of iOS 13.4.5, currently in beta.
Although, considering that the current version is 13.4.1, it's very likely that Apple will release iOS 13.4.2 soonerto fix those bugs. In any case, what we recommend is to keep your iOS devices updated. And, even, until it is solved, do not use the Mail app
