News in iOS 13 that I have activated
If you have not yet downloaded iOS 13 on your iPhone I encourage you to do so. Although Apple is still debugging some bugs, it is worth having it installed because it brings some very interesting news.
Today I am going to tell you which of all the new functions that this iOS brings, I activated it as soon as I installed it on my iPhone and iPad (in iPad the operating system is iPadOS) . Obviously I have made more modifications in the configuration of my devices, but I want to tell you about these five because I think they will come in handy for all of you.
It's something that I already mentioned in the podcast and that I leave you below in case you want to listen instead of reading:

News in iOS 13 that I recommend you activate:
I'm going to follow the order we followed in the podcast:
Set the time after which all open Safari tabs will be closed:
If you're like me, you're accumulating tabs in Safari , this new option is going to come in handy. Accessing Settings/Safari/Close tabs, you can configure the time after which you want all the tabs that you accumulate to be closed. I have configured it to do it every day.
Close Safari Tabs
If you're not a fan of this, you can continue to do it as before. Select manual and you can close all safari tabs at once, whenever you want.
Extend your battery life by turning on Optimized Charging:
Batteries have charging cycle limits after which they deteriorate and lose charge capacity. To avoid foolishly consuming charge cycles, such as when charging the iPhone at night, by activating this option, the iPhone will learn from your charging habits and make intelligent charges with which it will avoid consume charge cycles.
Go to Settings/Battery/Battery He alth and activate the option “Optimized charging” .
Turn on dark mode:
Long awaited this feature will make black and dark color take over your device. This will reduce battery consumption on iPhones with OLED displays, which are iPhone X, XS, XS PLUS and the new iPhone 11 If we add a black wallpaper to this, the battery consumption of the screen , it will be even smaller.
To activate it there are several ways to do it. The most orthodox is to enter Settings / Display and brightness and activate the dark mode from there.
Dark Mode iOS 13
I always have it active, although another option is to set it to activate automatically. This way you can customize the time at which it activates or you can have the iPhone activate it between dusk and dawn.
iPhone with reduced data mode:
If you have a low data rate, this option will be blessed glory for you. Go to Settings/Mobile data/Options and activate the “Reduced data mode” option .
By activating this function, the apps on your iPhone will reduce the use of network data and, as a consequence, will consume less data from your rate.
Mute unknown numbers on iOS:
Are you tired of being called by numbers to offer you all kinds of services? With this new feature in iOS 13, numbers that are not in your contacts, that you haven't called recently, or that are suggested by Siri , when calling you will be silenced, sent to voicemail and they will be displayed in the recent list. This is good in case any of the numbers you want to call them back.
To activate it you must go to Settings/Phone and activate the option “Mute phone number. unknown» .
What do you think? I hope it helped you to know more features of iOS 13 that might be useful for you.
And do you know any other function that you recommend activating or deactivating? I await your comments.
Greetings.
