Apple Event September 12
It seems that for the first time in history, Apple will broadcast one of its Keynotes live, on a platform outside of its ecosystem. Twitter seems to be the lucky one and it seems that the rumor is gaining strength after seeing the latest tweet from Apple on this social network.
It has been rumored since the end of August that possibly Apple will broadcast the presentation of its new devices, on Twitter. Many of us didn't believe it but things seem to be serious.
Personally I thought it was a joke because, normally, what is broadcast live on the little bird's social network are sporting events. But it is true that this does not mean that other types of events can be broadcast in streaming.
Apple's latest tweet reveals that the event will possibly be broadcast live on Twitter:
Usually the live broadcast of Apple events, is done through your Safari browser or through Apple TV . It seems that now we can also see it through the Twitter app .
In his last tweet, Apple wrote the following:
Join us September 12 at 10 am PDT to watch the AppleEvent live on Twitter. Tap ❤️ below and we'll send you updates on event day. pic.twitter.com/i9mGHTKhvu
- Apple (@Apple) September 10, 2018
On it we can read “Join us on September 12 at 10 am. PDT to watch AppleEvent Live on Twitter. Tap ❤️ below and we'll send you updates on the day of the event."
By clicking "Like" we will immediately receive a reply from the bitten apple saying the following:
@Apperlas Thank you. We'll send a reminder before the AppleEvent on September 12. Reply stop to opt out. pic.twitter.com/yi8kR6g71Z
- Apple (@Apple) September 11, 2018
In it he tells us «@Apperlas Thank you. We'll send you a reminder before AppleEvent on September 12. Reply stop to opt out."
Is there any doubt that it will be broadcast via streaming on Twitter?.
Twitter update to version 7.31.2:
But it doesn't end there. In the last few hours we just received an update from Twitter which improves and adds the following features.
Twitter Update 7.31.2
Evidently it seems that this new version of the app is released to better support an event of such magnitude.
So now you know, you can see the Keynote from Safari and from the web and application of Twitter.
