Although it's more common on Android , iOS users don't get away from it.
WhatsApp has started banning accounts
Some of us wish WhatsApp had more customization options, or features that haven't arrived yet.
Therefore, some users resort to jailbreaking or to apps stores with the applications modified by other developers.
These applications promise to be the perfect complement to WhatsApp.
But before installing them we must know that it carries some risks.
More now, when Zuckerberg's company has gotten its act together and has started to ban user accounts from these applications.
WhatsApp wants you to use its official app
As we have mentioned, at the moment account banning has only been seen on Android .
Nonetheless, WhatsApp has started to crack down on just as harsh measures for iOS users.
The intention is none other than to discourage users from using third-party apps, and to motivate them to use their official application .
They are based on the fact that only their official application offers real security and privacy.
And that the other applications are in compliance with their terms of service.
For these reasons, WhatsApp has started banning user accounts.
So if you are using a third-party application we recommend that you uninstall it and go to the App Store in search of the official version.
What are the consequences of a ban?
If WhatsApp has determined that your account is not complying with the terms of use of its application it may block your account.
And this is a serious problem, since the blocking is not by device, but by phone number.
This means that if you've been banned, it won't do any good to change your phone and install the official version there.
But your phone number won't be able to use any more bliss application.
Are you using the official version?
