iOS Settings
Surely you have on the iPhone , an app to keep track of monthly mobile data consumption. But the vast majority of these apps don't tell you how much each app consumes, something we should know to keep a more thorough control of our data rate.
In the iPhone we have an option in which it indicates the consumption of each application. This option is somewhat hidden and not everyone finds it, so today we are going to show you how we can access this option.
How to know how much data each iPhone app consumes:
The first thing we have to do is access "Settings", once inside, we will see a tab that indicates "Mobile data". Therefore we click on that tab
Mobile data settings
When we click on « Mobile data » we will access all the options of our data. In this case, what we are interested in is knowing how much data each app consumes, therefore we scroll down and we will see that all those applications that consume mobile data appear.
How much data does each app consume
As we see in the image, a green bar appears, which we can mark or unmark. This option serves to control our data even more, since we can choose which applications we want to consume mobile data or not.
If we deactivate it, the applications will only work with WiFi . We have deactivated some apps, such as Snapchat (it consumes a lot of data), which we only use under Wi-Fi. Only in specific cases we activate the consumption of mobile data.
A number appears under each application. That is the mobile data that the application has consumed, since you last reset the statistics. If you have never restored them, they are the data that the app has consumed, since you have the iPhone.
We recommend resetting the statistics monthly:
We recommend resetting the values every month, in order to keep better control of the data consumed. In this way we will know how much data an application has consumed during that period. In the case of not restoring the values every 30-31 days, the data consumption will accumulate and we will not know exactly the monthly cost.
And in this way we can check how much data each app consumes and control our data rate. It is ideal if we have a rate that is somewhat low in megabytes.
From the mobile data settings, we can make disappear free game ads.
