Battery life issues with iOS 11.4
With the version of the operating system iOS is 11.4,and it seems that since June, many users have been complaining about the battery life.
On the Apple forums there are 35 pages of users reporting battery life issues with iOS 11.4.
And Apple hasn't made a statement about it so far.
Usually, when it is a problem that affects many users, as is the case, Apple releases a patch in an update.
But, for the moment, despite the fact that many users are unhappy with the autonomy of their devices, Apple has not commented on anything.
So the issue has been unresolved for over a month.
New version of iOS 11.4.1
It is not usual for Apple to be silent for an answer, given a problem that affects so many users.
More when it's a subject as sensitive as battery life with iOS 11.4.
Anyway, we should be calm, or so we hope.
Cupertino's just released a new version of iOS.
Version 11.4.1,so this issue may have been fixed.
Also, as you know, we are also waiting for the new and improved version of iOS, version iOS 12.
Which is currently in public beta, and is expected in the fall.
We hope one of the two updates will fix the battery life issue with iOS 11.4.
What if we downgrade to a previous iOS version?
Though this would have been a great workaround for all those users experiencing battery life issues with iOS 11.4.
It won't be possible, because Apple stopped signing version 11.3.1.
So for now the most advisable thing to do is update to version 11.4.1 and check if the problems have been resolved.
If it wasn't, you could install the beta of iOS 12.
Apparently it has no problems with battery life.
