iOS 12 Public BETA
For a few hours we have available the public BETA of iOS 12. Everything new that the new Apple operating system brings to iOS devices, you can enjoy it before anyone else.
We remind you that until mid-September the official version of iOS 12 will not appear on our devices. If you don't want to wait to try it, you are in the right place. We are going to explain how to do it, but not before letting you know what can happen to you if you choose to do it.
Things to keep in mind before installing the iOS 12 public BETA:
Don't think that installing an BETA of iOS is a piece of cake. Installing it, yes, but the operation of your iPhone or iPad may be greatly diminished, depending on how the beta is.
For example, the Public Betas of iOS 11 worked very well. We installed it as soon as it came out and we had no major problems. I seem to remember that some update made the battery drain very quickly, but except for that and a few other small visual bugs, everything was great.
De iOS 12 is being talked about pretty well, but we can't trust it. That is why before taking the step to update to the BETA of iOS 12, keep this in mind:
- Check that your iPhone or iPad is compatible with iOS 12.
- As they are BETA versions, they may contain errors and instability problems. For example, they can cause your iPhone to turn off suddenly, lag, some options not work, etc .
- As they are not final versions, apart from malfunctioning, they can cause data loss.
- If you have an Apple Watch please note that there is no public version, for now, of WatchOS 5 (Apple Watch operating system). This may cause the synchronization and operation between the iPhone and the watch to not work properly.
We always recommend NOT INSTALLING BETAS on devices you use daily, both personal and work.
