What this app specifically does is recognize and export the text that we have on paper, in order to store and save it on our device. This can be very useful, for example, if we manage and save a specific theme in iCloud Drive and we want to have everything there.
Text detection and the different app options
For the app to recognize the text, it makes use of the camera. Therefore we must grant access to it and when opening the application is what we will see. Next we will have to point to the text that we want Prizmo to recognize and, once we see the text that we want marked below with a blue line, take the photo.
With this the app will show us the text it has recognized on the screen. If we enlarge the photo, we can select specific text to show it to us and, in addition, at the bottom we find a series of options.
The different settings of the application
The first one corresponds to the chosen language, while the second will allow us to translate the selected text into different languages. We can also make the iPhone or iPad reproduce the text we have selected by sound, as well as copy and share it and export it to different formats.
The app works quite well and even recognizes handwritten text. To be able to use all the functions it is necessary to purchase the Pro version, but it is so useful that we recommend you to download the free version to try it.
