Official YouTube App
As soon as we heard the news that Youtube Music and Premium were already available in our country, we subscribed. Obviously, we are going to "spend" the 3-month free trial on the Premium service since this also gives access to the new streaming music service of the platform.
Once subscribed, we enter the Youtube application and we will welcome this subscription service.
News that Youtube PREMIUM brings to the official Youtube app:

On the main screen of the app we will see the following news:
- Our profile picture is framed in a red circle.
- The word PREMIUM appears next to the Youtube logo, at the top right of the screen.
- Direct access to Youtube Music and Originals.
Clicking on Music App will open the Youtube music app.

Clicking on Originals gives us access to the YouTube section with all the content of series, original movies on the platform.

Ability to download any video:
Now when playing any video, we have the possibility to download it. This makes it possible to view it later without having to have an internet connection.

If you want to keep track of the storage that these videos occupy, in YouTube SETTINGS, we have a new section where we can consult and manage them.

Changes in Library menu:
Obviously, with the possibility of downloading videos, a new section has been added to the library menu, which we find at the bottom of the screen.
As you can see in the following image, a section called "Available without connection" has been enabled, where all the downloads we make will be located.

Listen in the background or with the iPhone locked, any Youtube video:
This news is not visible but it can be heard and is possibly one of the most prominent.
Now we can listen to any video, leaving the app or even blocking the device.
Our opinion on Youtube PREMIUM:
We loved it.
The possibility, above all, of downloading videos and listening to them in the background or with the iPhone blocked, has won us over. It is true that these two things could be done before, in an "illegal" way. But being able to do it now officially gives the platform a plus of "usability".
Being able to enjoy music in an app developed and designed for it, is also something that we have loved.
We are going to try these 3 months for free, but everything indicates that, possibly, we will be a user of Youtube Premium for a long time.
