Iphone with 3 rear cameras
We were already telling you about it a few weeks ago and it seems that the next iPhone is going to come with three rear cameras.
It was quite a surprise to find out, but we got even more of a surprise when we found out about the new functions of the camera. And it is that everything indicates that we will be able to capture photos in 3D.
In addition, we will have improvements in the zoom of the rear camera. This is one of the functions that make mobile phones not up to compact cameras. Taking photos without using zoom, we can compare the quality of the photos of the iPhone with some cameras on the market. But as soon as we do them with it, the image leaves much to be desired compared to cameras.
That's why, at least for us, we take photos without zooming in and then edit them by cropping and enlarging the area we want to appear in the image.
What 3D photos might look like on the next iPhone:
This new camera could capture images of an object, from different angles. This would be done because two of the lenses are further apart than in current cameras. A triangulation system could easily calculate the distance to the object and take two depth-of-field perspectives.
A few years ago, specifically in 2014, we discussed the issue of 3D photos of the iPhone in an opinion article. In it we mentioned that it was one of the functions that Apple should implement in iOS.
In that post, we share a video in which you can see 2D images in which the depth of field was played. A 3D sensation is generated that is simply SPECTACULAR!!! We'll pass you the video again so you can enjoy it.
Can you imagine that future iPhones with 3 rear cameras could do something similar? It would not be so unreasonable to think that these were the possible 3D photos that we can take.
The portrait mode of the latest iPhone already manage to detect the foreground and blur the second. Who knows if in the future they won't be able to give movement to the depth of field?
Today there are apps that allow you to give a 3D effect to images, so the idea that this was the three-dimensional effect that we can see in the photographs.
And what do you think about it? We await your comment.
