Since November I've been enjoying a iPhone X 256Gb. Maybe you think it's too much for a mobile device. But after spending years with a iPhone 4S and a iPhone 6 both 16Gb and always keeping an eye on space, I decided that this was the best moment to have enough capacity that I don't have to worry about it for a long time.
I can now try multiple applications at the same time without worrying about exceeding the maximum volume of my iPhone.
Would you like to know the apps I have on my iPhone? Let's get to it!
The Apps of Patricia, former editor of APPerlas:
Patricia
The truth is that even though I now have a lot of space, I haven't gone crazy installing applications.
I have 3 desktops or screens, and I have all my apps on them.
Home screen:
I've always been taught to start at the beginning, so to explain what Patricia's Apps are, I'll start with my home screen.
In this one I put those applications that I use most often. Starting from top to bottom I have:
In the first two rows I have native iOS apps. Some of them I don't use much, like Messages or Facetime. But I like that they are here.
Home Screen
A folder of maps:
With 3 applications:
- iOS Maps which is the one I use the least
- The classic ofGoogle Maps
- Y Moovit, an application that I love to calculate public transport routes around the city.
We continue with the iOS Weather app. For a while I replaced it with Morecast. But in the end I stayed with the native one because it was more minimalist.
Next Youtube and the iOS Calculator.
We go down to the fourth row:
We found:
- OneSafe: my password manager. Very visual and easy to use. I don't know what I would do without her.
- The app of iOS Notes
- iOs Reminders I hardly use it at all.
- Bring! an application to make the grocery list that is going great. Very visual and you can share the list with other people.
He alth Folder:
In the penultimate row I have everything related to he alth, where do I have:
- The native iOS app
- The Activity App
- Fitbit, yes I'm one of the geeks who wears the Apple Watch on the left and the Fitbit on the right
- AutoSleep which is great if you have an Apple Watch to measure and control your sleep cycle
- Fitness a freemium app for gym exercises.
The social media folder:
Here I put all the social networks where I am active (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Also Amplifr and Hootsuite to schedule posts on social networks.Pinterest to gossip a bit. The Facebook page manager in case you send me a message on the FanPage and Messenger
We continue with WhatsApp which is the messaging application that all my family and friends use.
And in the last row:
I only have two apps:
- The app of the AppleWatch
- Telegram, that I use only for work chats or groups to receive information. But it's not my usual communication channel.
Second desktop plus Patricia Apps:
Here's some potpourri.
At first I have the App of Camera+ for all those times that the native iOS app falls short.
PocketLife a calendar app that I love because I can create event templates and create several at once. It syncs with the iOS calendar and works great. It is very customizable.
Second Apps Desktop
Folder with cloud storage:
Dropbox, iOS Files and My Cloud which is my personal cloud, something which I highly recommend.
A photography folder
Where I put all the photo editing apps I have. This folder changes over time, depending on what is in style or new that are coming out. The ones I use the most are; Canva, Pixelmator and Snapseed.
Patricia's Video Editing Apps:
At a very simple level with iMovie, Clips and FimoraGo. Here I also have Snapchat since I only use it to record videos or take photos with masks and share them on social networks or Whatsapp.
We continue with the native Podcasts app. And then Snaptube, to listen to music from YouTube in the background. It also allows you to create a playlist. And it's free.
Then I have Wallet, my bank's application.
Newsreaders:
Flipoboard which has a very neat image and I find it very pleasant to read news there. Appy Geek where I have a compilation of news related to the world of technology. The well-known Feedly, and Pocket where I save posts that interest me to read them later. Although it ends up being a mixed bag where they accumulate for me.
I also have the MobileMemory application that was from the usb memory I used to expand the capacity of my iPhone 6 to 16Gb.
Then I have the app to Find my iPhone, which I recommend that you have it active because it will be of great help in case of theft or loss.
Bobby to keep track of my subscriptions. And a folder of Stores where I bring together Amazon, Apple Store, Fnac, AlliExpres
Then the Google Translate.
You can't miss the movie folder:
Where I have PrimeVideo, I have Plusdede in the process of deleting it and the native App of Videos .
Then a folder of Movistar, where I have an application to see consumption and billing and another to watch series and movies.
Finally, an app that I have recently discovered Today that is used to more easily achieve your objectives or proposed goals.
The last screen:
What I use the least, what I could do without.
A game 2048 that I got hooked on a long time ago and it's the only one I play on my iPhone.
Last Apps Screen
If I have to play, I do it on console or PC, but I'm not used to using mobile phones.
The Extras:
Those Apple apps you could delete but never know: Contacts, Friends, Home , Compass and Tips.
And finally Shazam, in the process of deleting it because Siri is already fulfilling this mission.
What do you think? Did you like what I have on my iPhone? Did we meet in any application?
