For us the "Raise to listen" function is one of those options that go unnoticed, at first, and that becomes essential in the blink of an eye. There is no conversation by iMessage in which we do not use this sensational option provided by the native instant messaging app.
Surely many of you haven't tried it or even heard of it, right? Today we are going to tell you about what it is about and how we can configure it.
HOW LIFT TO LISTEN WORKS:
This function only works with the "MESSAGES" app of iOS,so if you don't use it it's not worth reading on. If you use it, we want to comment that "Raise to listen" allows us to communicate with a contact as if it were a phone call, but with the difference that we will answer and listen to their voice messages, when we can and when we have time.
To activate them, we must go to SETTINGS/MESSAGES and activate the following option:
Imagine that someone sends you an audio message by iMessage. If you have the "Raise to listen" function activated, open the "Messages" app and when we have the conversation in screen, we raise the iPhone towards the ear as if we were going to make a phone call. At that moment we will hear a beep and then we will hear the message from our contact.
If you want to answer him, take the iPhone out of your ear, make the gesture of looking at the screen and put it back to your ear, another beep will be heard and that's when we should talk to communicate what we want to say. Once you're done, take the phone from your ear again, make the gesture of looking at the screen and it will be sent automatically.
This function can also be used from the corresponding notification on the lock screen or in the banners.
It is a very simple and entertaining way to establish a conversation, privately, with another person. Why write if we can use "Raise to listen"?
We recommend you try it. Surely if you haven't used it to date, from today it will be essential for you.
