At the bottom of the screen we can see the menu with which we can move around the application:
- PODCAST: Screen that we access when we enter the application and that shows us the podcasts that we have pending to listen to.
- PLAYLIST: We can create podcast groups and differentiate themes. This is very useful to not have them all mixed up. When we click on "CREATE NEW PLAYLITS" a configuration menu will appear in which we can select the podcasts we want to include, order them as we want, activate their continuous broadcast, what types of episodes we want to include
- ADD PODCASTS: In this menu we can find our favorite podcasts. We can search for them manually (ADD PODCAST MANUALLY), using the search engine (SEARCH FOR PODCAST), or choosing them from the TOP PODCAST that appears divided by categories.
- DOWNLOADS: Here we can see which podcasts are being downloaded and which ones we have in the queue. By scrolling down the screen, it will refresh and search for updates of the audios to which we are subscribed.
- MORE: We access the app's settings, podcast management tools, iCloud setup, and help.
Configuring DOWNCAST to our liking does not have much difficulty. The only difficult thing we see is the language. If you have basic notions of English you will surely manage well for it. We will be issuing tutorials on how to configure this application by referring to the queries that you make us.
To listen to one of our favorite podcasts, all we have to do is go to the « PODCAST » menu and click on the one we want.
Once this is done, we will see that a list of the episodes we have pending appears. On the left side of the title an "i" appears with which we can read additional information about that chapter.
At the bottom of the same screen we see 4 buttons:
- EDIT: We can delete the ones we want and, also, if we click on a button located at the bottom and characterized as a white square with three lines, we can perform various actions about the listed episodes.
- «i»: We will be able to know more about the podcast to which we are subscribed and we will be able to share it through social networks and enter its settings.
- SQUARE WITH 3 STRIPES: We will give the order to delete all the chapters, mark them as heard or mark them as unheard.
- GEAR: We access the podcast configuration to adjust it to our needs. We can change the name, order them by the variable we want, adjust the volume, activate the continuous reproduction of the chapters
When we start listening to a chapter, we do so by viewing this playback interface:
In it we can see the reproduction bar, the controls, the button to increase the emission speed (by default at 1x), the buttons to advance or delay the reproduction a certain time (located at the top) , a description of the episode, volume
For us, the most complete application to manage our favorite podcasts.
