When speaking of heritage we find several meanings, a set of moral, cultural or spiritual values accumulated by a person or a community by tradition or heritage. The word “heritage” is not a term that is used regularly in our language, however, it is the one indicated when it comes to referring to the set of material, cultural and moral goods that correspond to a community. Meanwhile, it is more common that instead of this word some of its synonyms are used, such as: collection, heritage and property.
It is understood as a cultural heritage, all the folkloric traditions that are celebrated throughout the year in a population, also includes the type of dishes or the typical cuisine of each region, customs in preparation, religious and daily that can identify the different locations of a country; Following the idea of this, and these habits are inherited from generation to generation, then we could say that cultural heritage is the set of many customs that identify each being according to the region from which it comes, considered as one of the fundamental pillars for the formation of a society.
In the legal field, the “acquis communautaire” is defined as the set of decisions and laws that have been applied to guarantee a life in harmony among all the citizens living in the European region; the treaties contemplate all the obligations and acceptances of the same by the committee of the European Communities, as proof that the fully implemented laws will be complied with and the acts that will guarantee the safety of the aforementioned community will be correctly carried out.
In the field of science, the scientific heritage is the conglomerate of knowledge obtained by a scientific community through research on a specific topic. The gene set is the complete set of alleles that can be present when combining genes for a given species or population.
Many times it tends to confuse “heritage” with “acerbo”, both words have totally different definitions, because Acervo refers to all elements or materials that are rough to the touch, or it can also be mentioned that a person acted with acerbity to refer to that was cruel in his actions and decisions.
