  1. Ischemic stroke: it is when the arteries become clogged and is the main responsible for 90% of strokes. Given the evaluation and study of each of these cases, the etiology of this type of effusion is not yet known. Likewise, there are two types of ischemic strokes which are:
    • Thrombotic effusion is when a blood clot forms in the artery located in the neck or brain, due to a large amount of fat accumulated in that area.
    • Embolic stroke, this occurs when there is a blockage by clots blood in parts of the body such as the heart and move these to the brain. This usually happens when the heart's atria beat abnormally and this is when it causes clots to form.
  2. Hemorrhagic effusion, happens when there is a rupture in one of the arteries of the brain, and this can be caused by an aneurysm or malformation of the cerebral vascular system.
  3. Transient ischemic attack: they are mini-strokes that happen for a few minutes and their symptoms are very similar to a stroke. They are caused by decreased blood supply to areas of the brain.
  4. Among the symptoms of stroke so a person should be alert include:

Numbness, facial paralysis or in some upper and lower limbs.

Dizziness, lack of coordination, loss of balance.

Blurred or decreased vision, either in one or both eyes.

Sudden appearance of headaches, which can be localized and accompanied by vomiting.

If the patient presents some of these symptoms, it is possible that he or she is in the middle of a stroke and should promptly go to a trusted doctor.
