The word domestic implies everything that is relative to a house, dwelling, home or abode. The entry "domestic" comes from the Latin "domus" that is to say "house". Domestic is also called the person or individual who is in charge of the work of a house that is not his own and for this service he is paid a certain amount of money. In other words, the domestic is a household employee who is also called a servant and who is mostly female, also known as a maid, maid or servant, this person provides their domestic services in exchange for money; and that sometimes it lives in the each where it provides these services.
All this domestic work that these maids or servants carry out includes all those tasks or household tasks such as: cooking for their employers, cleaning the house, washing and caring for clothes and shoes, caring for children and the elderly and perhaps even cleaning them, shopping for the home, among other tasks. Throughout history, what refers to domestic work is related to slavery, colonialism and other forms of servitude; and at present it is a phenomenon that is related to the hierarchy of races, the ethnic origin of people, nationality etc.
On the other hand, the term "domestic animal" is attributed to the animal that grows up and lives near or with the company of human beings; These animals are those that man has been able to raise, adapt or domesticate, many times for his benefit, either as food as in the case of cows, chickens, rabbits, chickens, etc.; as a companion that includes dogs and cats; as transportation, horses, mules; among other cases.
