Failure is a simple word that is generally applied when someone or something is wrong or makes a mistake. It is common to use it as in the following example " Ana failed correcting her errors ", "The car failed the engine". But the term Judgment is given a more legal meaning since it is used to define the sentence that is given to a trial. The Judgment is issued after the lawsuit is filed and consequently the Litigation ceases, in order to be able to analyze the whole case, the points that are taken into account by the plaintiff and the defense of the defendant. The decision that the judge makes and takes as a last resort is called a ruling.
A Judgment because it is a decision of a judge must be respected by both parties involved "Plaintiff and Defendant" in the event that the judgment issued by the judge indicates that the defendant must cancel, pay or comply with a sentence, this must be fulfilled respecting the ruling.
Not only judges and in the legal field the term ruling is used. In the sports world, a failure is a decision made by the referee when some circumstance occurs in the middle of the game that violates the rules of the game. In soccer, they are usually shown with yellow and red cards (maximum penalty that implies expulsion). The decision of a referee in a sports game has the same characteristics of a judicial process, or at least complies with the essential, since both as judge and referee must follow an ethical and moral code while respecting the guidelines of a constitution or regulation.
