Flumil is the generic name for the drugs bufenin, diphenylpyraline, and aminophenazone, which are used to treat inflammation and relieve pain. This medicine has a different concept than the others, but all drugs that contain flumil have the same object and attack the same ailment.
For example, aminophenazone is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory that reduces symptoms of general discomfort, which is rapidly absorbed through the intestinal tract which is then excreted in the urine. While bufenin is absorbed through the digestive tract and is a vasodilator that stimulates the nasal mucosa and removes toxic substances from the tract. On the other hand, there is diphenylpyraline, which consists in reducing nasal secretions and combating rhinorrhea.
Among the contraindications of the drug are: active peptic ulcer, paroxysmal tachycardia, myocardial infarction, anemia, glaucoma, aplastic anemia. Some precautions that the patient should take when taking such treatment is not to administer with alcoholic beverages. It should not be given to children or pregnant women.
Some side effects produced by the drug are: eventual palpitations, dry mouth and nose, tachycardia, urinary retention, dizziness. among others.
The administration of Flumil is orally, children over twelve years and adults should take two capsules at the beginning. While the drop solution should be one for each kilo of the child, every four hours.
