Geek is a culturally modern term, it comes from the English word "Freak" which means phenomenon, however, it is not necessary to have 3 eyes or any malformation to be called Geek. It is commonly used by young people, to refer to those who, due to the way they dress, their behavior or actions they do in public, are not specifically adapted to society. A Geek for example can be a person who dresses in colors in a situation in which a more formal or less extravagant dress is warranted. Usually whoever uses the term Geek to refer to someone else does so in a derogatory tone, belittling a person for the simple fact of not being the same.
This new categorization that is made to people, especially young people who share with others in a social environment with one or a few characteristics, can be considered as racial, social and suggestive discrimination, thus affecting who is indicated by a style that should be independent and not conform to a specific pattern. In different countries, the nuance on which a geek person is drawn can vary, let's see:
A geek person can be one who feels attraction or fondness for the world of technology and science in general. The disinterest in the young masses that arise from the precarious education of many schools has generated an isolation of people who excel in certain interests in which knowledge of a technical or scientific subject is involved, who does not share this fondness for a study tends to point out who does it as a Geek
A geek person is one who wears Nerd style clothing. Some time ago, celluloid taught us that a Nerd was the one who wore suspenders with a white shirt and brown pants, the most emblematic hallmarks are the thick and square frame glasses and the hair flattened against the skull.
The unpopular are also called geeks, the marginalized by those who with a certain style manage to gather a pre-selected group with the fashionable characteristic.
