The term management is used to refer to the set of actions, or procedures that allow the performance of any activity or desire. In other words, a management refers to all those procedures that are carried out in order to resolve a situation or materialize a project. In the business or commercial environment, management is associated with the administration of a business.

There are various types of management:

Governance: is one that is oriented towards the effective management of resources of the State, in order to meet the needs of the population and promote the development of the country. It should be noted that this management is exercised by each and every one of the entities that make up the executive power of a nation.

Business management: is one that seeks to improve the performance and competitiveness of a company or business. Business management is essential within the dynamics of a market economy, since companies have the opportunity to analyze the different scenarios within the economy that support optimal profitability, which is reflected in the generation of goods and services.

Knowledge management: is that carried out within an organization and that consists of facilitating the transmission of skills or information to its workers in an orderly and efficient way.

Social management: are those that use a series of mechanisms that promote social inclusion and the affective bond of the community in social projects. These are projects that are carried out in a specific community and that are based on collective and continuous learning for the structuring and execution of projects that take into account social needs and problems.

Environmental management: is one where a series of means are used that are focused on solving, reducing or preventing all environmental problems, in order to achieve sustainable development. In other words, this management implies any activity or policy that seeks to manage the environment in a global way.

Educational management: it is oriented towards the consolidation of the educational projects of the institutions, which seeks to preserve institutional autonomy, framed within public policies and which enhances pedagogical processes, in order to respond to educational needs, whether national, regional or local.
