There are different types of information, some of them are:

Public Information: is that created or controlled by public entities, whether state or non-state. It is the information that everyone has the right to request and receive from public bodies. In all countries where freedom of expression exists, access to public information is a fundamental right that implies multiple benefits, among which the following stand out: the promotion of citizen participation in public affairs, fosters transparency in accountability. of public bodies, among others.

Private information: is that which the law is prohibited from disclosing, since it harms national security, or personal privacy; for example certain personal and bank details, email passwords. These are personal data that can only be disclosed with the authorization of the owner.

Internal information: it is that which circulates within a company or organization. Its purpose is to be able to carry a message, which allows coordination between the different departments; providing the introduction, disclosure and compliance with guidelines for the proper development of the company.

External information: it is information that is introduced into a company, caused by different external means, sometimes it is only circulating in the middle, waiting for some business entity to take advantage of it in order to solve corporate problems. This information must be chosen, since not all of them are suitable for all organizations in the same sector, which is why it must be analyzed before acquiring it.

Direct information: is that which provides the data that is sought immediately, without the need to resort to another source. The direct information is the form of human communication, which is given by a natural language, and is characterized by temporal immediacy.

Indirect information: it is that which is not provided directly by a source, but is found, after reviewing the suggestions of the documents that contain such information. In other words, indirect information is that which reaches a person, through a means other than the one that originates it.

Selective information: is one that uses certain types of language that, when properly interpreted, can disseminate relevant information. In the field of computer science, selective information takes into account the common interests, presented by the users of information systems, therefore, it is information that spreads to a specific field of knowledge and in disciplines similar to this; It is specific information about certain data, such as methods, figures, etc.

Semantic information: it is that which can be transmitted through true or false statements. Semantics refers to everything related to the meaning, or interpretation of linguistic signs as symbols, words or expressions. According to the general principle of semantic information; For information to exist, there must be well-formed and meaningful data.
