This is a small fraction of time, that when we want to warn you, in the near future it has become present and has almost disappeared. Transience is what characterizes this concept, which can last seconds or a few minutes, without being precise.
It is also used as a synonym for brief repeated moments: "The moments when the child stops screaming are very few, he is becoming very capricious" or "At all times, my memories bring me closer to you."
How to experience an instant is a very subjective appreciation: “the moments that I experienced this horror seemed centuries to me” or “I had such a good time at this party that I thought it lasted only a few moments”.
There are so many moments that make up the life of the human being, so many memories that only some of those moments leave an indelible mark on the heart.
They are those that are connected with the affective memory through some special memory. Throughout life there are moments of love, personal moments marked by sadness, situations of professional success, moments of fear, moments marked by joy and hope…
Subjectivity in the way of appreciating time also shows how the paradox of feeling that one moment is eternal while another seems to fly at the speed of light. Instances of fear, pain and suffering seem longer than those marked by the immense happiness in which the person has the inner desire to stop time, to stop the vital clock to catch that moment. However, this human desire is impossible.
In Literature, there is a beautiful reflective poem, entitled "Instantes" that was attributed to Borges for a long time, but that would be by the American cartoonist and humorist Don Herold and in its original version it would be written in prose. The theme focuses on the transience of existence and the mistakes we make in life, minimizing simple things like walking barefoot or playing with children and filling us with useless worries. The author claims that being able to live again would give value to everyday things, it would be less proactive, there would be no problems for things that have a solution and it would allow you to make more mistakes.
