Idyllic poetry is based on romantic and sometimes erotic love feelings, although it does not involve dialogue, it comes from the Greek "eidyllion" or small image according to its translation, from a short and simple composition, but very expressive praising a life normally of field, I leading to mildness and sensuality of an environment, state or time.
Idyllic poetry goes through several periods from Greek to Neoclassical, the oldest are recognized by Greek poets such as Tócritus, Biòn, Mosco from the 3rd century, of which the latter was considered only an imitator of the first two, but this does not downplayed or fame.
