Android Cupcake is an old version of this mobile operating system, launched in 2009. Currently, it is discontinued and the program that succeeded it was the Android Donut. Google was the company that was responsible for the development and subsequent distribution of this product, as an improvement that came out of the previous edition of the parent program for smartphones.
Android, it should be noted, is an operating system that is installed on electronic touch devices, to provide an attractive interface to the user. It has become, since its entry to the market in 2008, one of the most important products in the technology industry and sales are much higher than those of Windows Phone and IOS combined. The Linux kernel, likewise, was the system on which a group of young people were based, made up of Andy Rubin, Rich Miner, Chris White and Nick Sears, who would found Android Inc., acquired two years later by the giant Google.
Normally, the names that are given to the new improvements, are distinguished by being the determinants of known desserts or sweets, which are organized to follow an alphabetical order. Android Cupcake, in the same way, succeeded the previous version, called Apple pie (the first to be offered commercially). In April 2009, for the first time, the improvements carried out within this application were seen. With it, the interface and accessibility within the device changed very little, but it did offer some improvements. However, it was not as successful as expected, so it was soon replaced by a new edition of Android.
