The term Project, despite being in common use, can take different meanings and is not always used in the same sense. The word comes from the Latin proiectus , which in turn derives from proiicere , which means to direct something or something forward. Hence, among its acceptances we find that project refers to a scheme, program or plan that is made before definitively giving something or something. A project is a deliberate and planned intervention by a person or entity that wishes to generate favorable changes in a given situation. It is the set of concrete, interrelated and coordinated activities that are carried out in order to produce certain goods and services capable of satisfying needs or solving problems.
A project is nothing more or less than the search for an intelligent solution: idea, investment, methodology or technology to apply to the approach of a problem aimed at solving, among many, a human need in all its scopes: food, health, housing, education, culture, defense, vision and mission of life, economy, politics, etc. Every project presents the following stages or life cycle: identification and diagnosis, formulation and design, execution, evolution, and results and effects.

There is also the social project , oriented to satisfy or solve problems, generating well-being and improvement of the quality of life; program project , supports the development of other projects (literacy programs, vaccination, educational campaigns, etc.); study project , related to the elaboration of diagnoses or investigations; and investment project , oriented to the production of goods and services for financial profitability purposes, are usually called private projects, since they have an owner who provides the initial capital.
On the other hand, there is also talk of personal project or life project; the human being has a clear, precise and firm idea of what he wants to achieve or become in his life. It proposes dreams, goals and objectives to achieve to achieve the established.
