In autocratic leadership it is considered that subordinates cannot perform actions on their own and therefore require someone who knows how to control them and where they must be obedient to the orders of the leader.

Among the capabilities that an autocratic leader must possess, it can be said that he must be a self-confident person, capable of doing whatever he sets his mind to, responsibility is another of the attributes that he must possess, since the decision falls on him. Of all decisions, you must have high knowledge about the sector where you want to work, also the ability to address other people directly, so that the message reaches clearly, you must be an experienced person, in addition to having good ability of response to the difficulties that arise to make the appropriate decisions and thus solve the difficulties.

This type of leadership is characterized by the fact that there is constant dominance by the boss, where the greatest responsibility falls on him, this is because he does not usually delegate many functions, the decisions he makes are not put to a vote, they are simply taken to out, since the opinions of others are not taken into account, in addition to being the leader the only one who can have access to information of a relevant nature.

This form of leadership, despite being seen by many, as counterproductive may have some aspects that are considered positive, for example when having the need to dismiss an employee that affects the group and in turn work, do not think twice to eliminate that bad influence, efficiently meet the objectives set and try to do it in a short time, there is no room for mistakes that is why you are always aware of all the details, work under pressure does not It affects you and you always do what it takes to keep a project going no matter how difficult it is.

Among the disadvantages that autocratic leadership entails we have the discontent that it causes in its employees, since they feel frustrated by not being able to participate in the contribution of ideas, which prevents the growth of the company, since many of these ideas can help to the development of the same, the communication between boss and subordinates is practically null unless the leader has some complaint of the people to his position.
